Hey. I’ve always been a bit short and I wanted to do something about it. I went to the doctor, but he said my height is normal and he can’t prescribe me growth hormone. I wanted to grow anyway, because 5 ft 5 inches is a disaster. In my class, a few girls are taller me, and they are only 15 years old! The Ebook is really well written. All the information it contains is presented in a clear and unambiguous manner, so you can read it really quickly. I personally use the micro-fracture method. I try to use this technique 3 times a week. So far, at a basic level, but I think I will move on to the advanced technique eventually. The only thing that is holding me back is my physical condition, or actually the lack of one :) I used to look for information about the possibility of getting a few more inches on my own, but the only thing I found was a lower limb lengthening surgery, which I want to have some day, but with the use of intramedullary nailing system.

Wytrzymałość ludzkich kości naukowcy porównują do odporności wykorzystywanego w budownictwie żelbetonu (żelazo zalane betonem). Są więc one wyjątkowo wytrzymałe na obciążenia. Tylko złamanie lub mikrozłamanie może spowodować tworzenie nowej kości, co wykorzystuje się przy operacjach wydłużania kończyn. Czy za pomocą siły mięśni i ćwiczeń można je rozciągnąć tworząc mikrozłamanie? To graniczy z cudem. Część z was mnie za to znienawidzi, ale prawda jest taka, że niemożliwe jest wydłużenie zbitych kości za pomocą zwykłych ćwiczeń rozciągających, jogi itp. One owszem stymulują tworzenie nowej kości, ale u dzieci i nastolatków.
Jak na razie ani na stronach anglojęzycznych, ani polskich nie zauważyłem żadnego wiarygodnego i udokumentowanego przykładu na to, żeby komukolwiek po tym czasie się to udało. Mowa o wyniku ponad 5 cm, nie mówiąc już o 10-ciu. 10 cm to superoptymistyczny scenariusz. U niskiego nastolatka to jest jak najbardziej realne pod warunkiem dobrej diety, sportu, snu, ćwiczeń rozciągających, a jeśli potrzeba ziół, suplementów itd. Jednak mężczyzna w wieku 25 lat ze zrośniętymi nasadami i spadającym hormonem wzrostu to już inny przypadek. Tu potrzeba innego programu na wzrost, bardziej wyszukanych, stricte naukowo zbadanych metod wydłużania kości długich i rozciągania kręgosłupa. Dowodzi temu medycyna i kilka wiarygodnych stron jak: www.shortsupport.org, które niczego nie sprzedają.
Jedynym najbardziej autentycznym przykładem jest Michael, który urósł 2,7 cm (z 161,6 cm do 164,3 cm) w ciągu 10 miesięcy z tym, że nie wiadomo ile lat ma ten Singapurczyk. Na swoim kanale youtube umieszczał filmy stojąc rano przy wzrostomierzu. Później przestał pokazywać kolejne filmy.
A co z koreańskimi żołnierzach, którzy urośli dzięki „tajnym” ćwiczeniom? Żaden z kursów na wzrost nie odnosi się do jakichkolwiek źródeł, więc może spróbuję. Chodzi o to, że były przywódca Korei Północnej Kim Dzong Il nielubiący swojego wzrostu, chcąc zwiększyć siłę militarną kraju nakazał ludziom robić specjalne ćwiczenia na wzrost, pić zioła itp. Czy zależałoby mu na zatajaniu czegokolwiek, jeśli pragnął wyższych dzieci – przyszłych żołnierzy? Według Los Angeles Times starania były bezskuteczne głównie z powodu biedy i niedożywienia w kraju. Co więcej, były trudności ze znalezieniem wystarczająco wysokich rekrutów, więc odwołano minimalny próg wzrostu (161 cm) wstępujących do armii [1].
Może rozciągnąć kręgosłup? Astronauci podobno są wyżsi… Astronauci będąc w kosmosie są wyżsi o maks. 3% dzięki mikrograwitacji. Na kręgosłup nie działa siła ciężkości, dyski są w pełni rozluźnione. Po powrocie na Ziemię krążki stopniowo ściskają się i osoby wracają do dawnego wzrostu [2]. Podobnie jak rano jesteśmy około 2 cm wyżsi.
Hormon wzrostu (GH) jest kluczowy dla rozwoju kości. Wydziela się pulsacyjnie 6-12 razy na dobę z nasileniem uwalniania podczas fazy snu głębokiego (1-2 godz. od zaśnięcia). Jego wytwarzanie można „podbić” poprzez sport, spożycie białek, hipoglikemię i inne sposoby, które dokładnie opisałem. Jednak dobowe rezerwy GH nie są nieskończone, więc „co za dużo, to niezdrowo” się tutaj sprawdza.
Endokrynolodzy z Instytutu Sportu w Warszawie zaobserwowali, że wyczerpujący trening fizyczny/sportowy wpływa ujemnie na sekrecję GH podczas snu. Zbyt duży wysiłek w ciągu dnia (np. 1,5h) zmniejsza wydzielanie hormonu w nocy [4], kiedy jest właśnie organizmowi najbardziej potrzebny. Przede wszystkim w ciągu nocy organizm regeneruje się, leczy i rośnie. Z tego powodu sztuczny hormon wzrostu podaje się w godzinach wieczornych.
Jako argument za podaje się bardzo skrótowo przykłady chorych na gigantyzm jak Robert Wadlow.
Gigantyzm – choroba występująca u dzieci i młodzieży spowodowana nadmiernym wydzielaniem hormonu wzrostu lub obniżonym poziomem estrogenów. Niski poziom estrogenów daje opóźniony wiek kostny i wolniejszą mineralizację kości (nasady kości póżniej się zamykają) dzięki czemu człowiek rośnie dłużej.
Najczęstszą przyczyną zwiększonego wydzielania do krwi jest guz przysadki. Przysadka niskiego człowieka z wiekiem wydziela jeszcze mniejsze ilości hormonu wzrostu. Zresztą, ile da hormon wzrostu po zamknięciu nasad kości? Ani centymetra.
U dzieci nadmierny poziom hormonu wzrostu powoduje występowanie gigantyzmu, a po skostnieniu chrząstek – akromegalię.

Akromegalia – choroba spowodowana nadmiernym wydzielaniem hormonu wzrostu u dorosłych.
Powiększają się dłonie, stopy, żuchwa i łuki brwiowe, czoło staje się bardziej wypukłe, wargi pełniejsze, nos szerszy, rozchodzą się zęby, głos staje się grubszy i szorstki. Można pobudzać naturalne uwalnianie hormonu wzrostu albo podawać go dożylnie (co jest kosztowne) w takich ilościach jak u „gigantów”, ale jeśli nasady kości uległy skostnieniu to nie da się urosnąć.
